Guided Open Studio : a la carte / Sept 19 th+ Oct 3rd

$140.00

Two studio sessions, with a week in between.
First we create. Then your work rests, dries + fires. Then you return to glaze.

Week 1: Make · Week 2: Firing break · Week 3: Glaze

Guided Open Studio a la carte is a low-pressure space to explore clay with support. Rather than committing to a longer class, each session follows your work through one simple cycle: make, pause, glaze.

During your first 3-hour studio session, you’ll have time to settle in, experiment, and build at your own pace. Bring something you’ve been wanting to make, a reference you’re curious about, or start from scratch. We’ll meet you where you are with demonstrations, technical guidance, problem-solving, and one-on-one support as you need it.

Then we take a week off while your work dries and is bisque fired.

You’ll return to glaze your own pieces and spend time learning how color, surface, and finish become part of the making process.

No prior clay experience is necessary. There’s no prescribed project and no pressure to arrive knowing exactly what you want to make. This is a place to follow an idea, try something unfamiliar, or simply spend a few hours making with your hands.

✿ Instructor available for technical guidance throughout each session.

✿ Bisque + glaze firing included. (Large scale firing available for additional cost.)

✿ All pieces can be expected to be ready for pick up within 4 wks.

Max class size: 6
