Dates of Classes:
March 12th, 6pm-8:30pm : studio orientation, best practices working with clay and start creating
March 19th, 6pm-8:30pm : getting into more making, demo + work time
March 26th, 6pm-8:30pm : demo, making time and finishing pieces for first firing ( bisque fire)
April 2nd, 6pm-8:30pm : glazing demo and glazing remainder of class time
What to expect:
• Studio orientation on the first day
• Each class includes a demo + guided instruction, with time for independent making
• 4 lbs of clay included (additional clay available for purchase)
• Curated selection of glazes
• Bisque + glaze firings included
• Basic hand-building tools + shared materials
• Dedicated shelf for your work
• Calm, intentionally held studio environment
Students will glaze their work during the final class.
Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in 4–5 weeks.
What’s not included:
• Clean-up of your personal tools or workspace
• Large-scale firings (projects over 8” x 11”)
• Wheel use — this is a hand-building focused studio
Additional Terms
WORKSHOP PREPARATION: Please wear clothing that is comfortable to create in. Clay gets wet, dusty and muddy. Your hand will be your main tools. All students are welcome to bring an apron and note taking devisces.
LATECOMERS: If you arrive to a workshop later than 20 minutes after the stated start time, the instructor may not be able to reshow any missed curriculum. We are not able to provide refunds or makeup classes.
CANCELLATION POLICY: With purchase of a class or workshop ticket, you understand this fee is non-refundable. If the workshop is canceled for any reason, you will receive a full refund, returned via your original payment method. Our team will contact you by phone and/or email with any updates regarding class cancellations.
